Who We Are

SOWERS Outreach Ministry was born from a growing burden to see the gospel of Jesus Christ take root in the hearts of people throughout Laredo, Texas, and beyond.

We are a Christ-centered, para-church outreach ministry committed to the faithful proclamation of the gospel, evangelism, biblical teaching, and Christian discipleship. SOWERS exists not as a church, but as a partner—coming alongside local congregations and believers to sow the seed of God’s Word and encourage spiritual growth.

Our desire is simple: to glorify God by proclaiming His gospel and faithfully sowing the Word of God wherever the Lord opens the door.

Our Vision

To see a faithful gospel witness in every neighborhood of Laredo, equipping believers to share the truth of God’s Word and trusting the Lord to gather His people for the glory of Christ.

Our Biblical Convictions

Our Name

The name SOWERS comes from the parable of the sower in Matthew 13. In that parable, Jesus teaches that the Word of God is the seed and the hearts of people are the soil. Our responsibility is not to control the results, but to faithfully sow the seed of the Word wherever the Lord opens the door and trust Him for the harvest.
